I understand that, the thing is,the pain of solitude can be unbearable yes but it doesn't have the impact of a traumatic experience. I like to watch neuroscience shows and most people who go through mass murders or abuse, usually, no matter the time skip, repress them into their subconscious. I've watched a documentary in which children later in life got a syndrome of multi personalities including the one of the killer or abuser...they somehow always get back to that! I'm not saying it happens to all of them...
Whereas in children who were abandoned, given to adoption or lived without parents, the future consequences are not that extreme...most overcome that situation by finding love in their new family or getting along in a group with fellow orphans...of course there are many cases who reject the fact of being adopted when they're told later in life.
