The blast radius of Naruto RSs is bigger than Sasuke's S/T so he will stand away to begin with to prevent himself or his clones getting hit by his own tech.

He only knew Jugo was the source of the curse mark, he never knew how senjutsu was implemented or there was ever a sage mode until Kabuto. Naruto obviously knows more about sage mode than Sasuke. This is not even arguable.

Those reflexes got owned by Sasuke today. Sasuke landing a hit on Naruto by teleporting in todays chapter was not a surprise. If his chidori had more range via. chidori blade Naruto would not have backed up in time to escape any penetration. Obviously Sasukes s/t is better bar dimension traveling, no portals are needed meaning it's actually instant. Which is why Sasuke managed to damage Naruto without even using the full extension of chidori.

If he had to prep it he would be making preparations all the time and noting them. When Kaguya knocked Sasuke back he teleported to safety. If he had to prep it he would be dead. It's a re-charge variable not prep it's obvious to anyone using common sense.
