Second year as an EMT, studying to get into radiology or surgery. It's going great so far and as a backup plan I can always settle as a firefighter.

Lot's of learning and busy schedules. I do it all because I passionately enjoy saving lives at the expense of my own.

I hope everyone can find a career/job that matches their ambitions as well as mine. We're all going to have bad days.

2 year college going to a 4 year next year school. I used to work at my dad's job moving boxes, and I decided to quit that, and focus more on studying for my business. However, I'm going to take a break from that next year, and study up on some Japanese classes let's see how well that goes. I'm gonna try to learn that Ching chong boom ​

Why philosophy?

I have a passion for the field. I’m a huge theoretical thinker, and I love how it enriches your thinking process. Taking the abstract and trying to derive logic out of it, possibly with no definite answer, really gets my mind going on. I think this degree offers a lot for a person to grow mentally, more so than other majors. And for a more reasonable explanation, it’s one of the best (if not the best) major for someone who's aspiring to be a lawyer.

It really does! I took one philosophy course during my first semester, and it altered my reasoning and argumentative skills for the better. People take it for granted, but it wouldn't hurt to read a philosophy book or take a course.

It can mess you up too. I've spent the better part of the past 4 months thinking for hours on end about that kind of stuff. Whenever I think I have reached a conclusion, I realize that there is more to do. Ultimately, I have ended up second guessing everything I do or think, because I think I'm lying to myself about the nature of my intentions. And once I understood why I was doing what I did, I realized that it would be impossible for me as a person to ever truly be what I wanted to be. There's a lot more too...Don’t be like me
