Did you see the size of that thing? Obviously there was a lot of chakra backed up into that chidori. Don't people remember that a Biju dama works basically the same way a Rasengan does? It was basically a big ass Rasengan-Chidori clash.

Difference is tailed beast chakra that went into it makes ig far stronger than a normal rasengan not to forget destructive aftershock. Coupled with sage.ode enhancement puts it tiers above a chidori. So it wasnt a normL clash ardos was enhanced many fold.

This chapter confirmed nardo needs to use sof6pbsm to counter sasuke who isnt using rinnegan techs to hold out against a basic sasuke. Wether hes in danger or not he needs such level of jutsu to stand in fron of sasuke.

Chidori doesn't explode though, neither does rasengan. Forcing a tbb to explode doesn't mean it has the same dc. A susano arrow could have easily done the same

1. Rasengan does explode. Refer to Minato vs Obito and Naruto and Minato vs Juubito.

2. Chidori not exploding doesn't make a difference. They both carry the same amount of energy. Chidori only applies it by piercing the target while Bijuu Dama/Rasengan explodes.

3. No, it couldn't. Susanoo arrow only managed to cause the Gudo Dama to explode, ramming it into anything stronger only results in the arrow getting overpowered.
