Sasuke understands that Naruto is trying carry his burden of hatred like he said, and he also realizes that Naruto wont leave him alone(like Naruto thought to himself) which also adds to his aim of killing Naruto, on the other hand Naruto also understand Sasuke's goal since he made it pretty clear himself,

So to put i simply this situation is different from the last time they were at the same place, at that time Sasuke was lost in hatred and Naruto was trying to save him, this time they are well aware and are consciously fighting, which is why this is actually an interesting fight.

however that's just my opinion on the matter,
