As other posters said, I doubt this is new. Yeah, it may head to TnJ. Will Sasuke accept it? Unlikely. Sasuke knows Naruto is his friend and always has been. He just thinks Naruto cannot shoulder the hatred, and he's probably right. Naruto nearly broke during the war, remember? He needed Hinata there to smack his ass back in line.

It doesn't matter, what he said is still fact and naruto always lost to sasuke and was always behind him as is what half of the damn story was about -- naruto catching up to sasuke and bringing him back. So just because he's the main character doesn't mean he is the best, because he is far from it right now.

History is doomed to repeat itself if people continue to do the same things, Sasuke chose that place for a specific reason as naruto called him out on it, however it also so happens naruto got bested in that area unfortunately. The fight has/had no clear winner, as this could very well be the end of the fight as sasuke has now begun to talk with naruto over their friendship.

The middle of the war is controversial because of many things. For one, Sasuke had no issue adjusting to naruto's power via his sharingan to make their combined rasengan and amaterasu work, key words -- adjusting to naruto's power, so don't bother with the scans, it's too unclear who was more powerful at that point, if there even was a power gap anymore, even in the slightest.

This is the problem—your thinking is limited within the Naruto world. Your thoughts need to be as wide as the manga world or story telling structure. Main characters rarely fail and when they do, it's usually because they are anti-hero like Light Yagami or a sequel is to be made like Fate/Zero or Berserk.

Alt, that's not talk no fist jutsu. I'm talking about when both naruto and sasuke get transported into a different dimension while fighting and have their conversation there. Sasuke conceptualized this idea when they fought in the river the first time—Naruto mastered it. Notice:

I think the "shocking end" is referring to the manga actually ending. It's been going on for so long and now it's nearly over.

Which makes sense with how shocked people are at the announced end date.
