Don't hate DBZ, but other than nostalgia, I don't have a reason to like it either. It gets overrated as hell by it's fans though.​

Anyone that hates DBZ should be shot! It's one of the best anime ever made. Without DBZ anime and manga in the US would not be what it is today. DBZ's popularity opened the doors for everything else after that.

Now I'm not saying everyone should love it, you can dislike DBZ if ya want to. But no one should hate it. Everyone should be thankfull that DBZ opened the door for Naruto, OP, Bleach, HxH ect...

No its not a must for every fan. Anybody who watches it in this day and age is only gonna watch it if they were a past fan of it. Anime has reached higher levels than your so called body building porn anime.

I just love the fact that the hardcore fanboys are being butthurt about it when it was suppose to make them feel better. The 26 reasons in that video are almost all very dumb things to get mad about ie no yellow lights, or Goku has no eyebrows in SSJ3. I mean if those are the only reasons to hate DBZ, then it must be alright.

By this logic you should respect and accept Astro Boy is the GOAA. It is the greatest anime ever because it changed the anime world to what it was in the 90's when DB was made.

This reverse logic could be used to go back to the very first anime, and you have to respect it because it is what lead to all the anime after it.

The only thing DBZ did was make it popular over seas so others could like it. This is what caused its fame to be the greatest selling manga of all time for so long(until One Piece dethroned it).


If DBZ didn't come along, eventually something would have, and it would be in place of DBZ.

Lel, another individual that has no anime knowledge whatsoever. Astro Boy is just known for being one of the first anime ever created. No it didn't, DBZ is the only series that changed the anime world to new heights. No, DB was made in the 80s and it changed anime forever from that time period and the 90s. Your logic is flawed.

Of course the very first anime should be respected. No, DBZ is the most popular anime of all time and it made anime go worldwide. No, DBZ is the greatest selling manga of all time worldwide. One Piece only surpassed it in the top selling manga of all time in japan.


Lel, no, by that logic, if Bruce Lee didn't come along, someone would have been replaced him. Why you need to understand is that some things come along once in a lifetime because they're truly special. DBZ come once in a lifetime.
