Both are good.. honestly though Toriko is a great manga.. the feel of adventure in it is probably why i personally like it so much..

Fairytail is great aswell so just read both xD

I heard great things about Toriko manga but never read it. I read Fairy Tail and it's pretty good too (also has bigger fanbase) but more of a chill manga - don't except any crazy intricate plots.
