SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!! In the original Japanese ending you actually do see lelouch in the cart wagon thingy but they took it out so the watcher could choose the ending they like. So yea he pretty much lived. also if you payed close attention at one point it is said that one someone awakens the geass in both eyes they become immortal. so its pretty much a 100% fact. ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!

I went on this youtube video once for One Piece and they spoiled quite a lot and same with Clannad or something, Idk.
