5 chapters isn't enough imo

So there has been news that Naruto is going to finally end in 5 chapters.

But I don't see how that is enough chapters without leaving plot-holes or ensuring a decent finale.


Most good fights in the manga last more than 5 chapters as it is, such as Pain vs Naruto.

So this means that those 5 chapters are going to cover the final epic battle between Naruto and Sasuke that everyone has been waiting for, plus an epilogue which is probably going to be a full chapter, and any plot-hole explanations in-between.

With that in mind, my doubt lies with the fact that the fight will most likely be rushed and will not reach the expectation we all have.



These are some of the things that I feel need closure with those 5 chapters.

1. Spiral Zetsu

2. Kaguya's past/motive explanation. What exactly is Shinju? Why did she need an army?

3. Indra and Ashura's battle(was really hoping there would have been a flashback of this)

4. Explanation of why Sasuke has one Rinnegan with 6 tomoe

5. Hamura. Seriously he was introduced an never explained. Why the hell was he even in the manga?

Agreed. i think you hit the nail right on the head. unless kishimoto decides to do a spin off to answer things left unanswered, this series will not be a complete one.

wishful thinking, but lets be logical. weather they are long or not does not matter. there is no way kishimoto can answer all of those questions in 5 chapters

If we're going by past shounens, then the final 2 chapters can range from 40pages so im for one keeping my hopes up, I also don't expect a huge fight. Be hopeful, atleast the movie is canonical<3

On the plus side maybe he is just trolling us, and even the last movie is a set up for a part 3 or something.

If it is only 5...then we know its all going to be rushed and mediocre.

Hey guys I'm not sure is this has been covered yet (there are way to many threads on the topic for me to read them all), but I thought Naruto the Last Movie was suppose to link Shippuden to the next "era"?

It was obvious ever since they have announced "The Last" that the manga is going to end before 6th of December. Lel at those who were (and maybe still are?) in denial here.

It was only logical to assume that the ending will be near chapter 700.

And nobody ever said that every question is gonna be answered. Something has to be left for the sequel or whatever they are making now, and something has to be left for the movie.

On another note the War arcs pacing has been terrible, probably the worst in the entire manga; specifically from when Obito was beat. It's just rush after rush, after rush with a bit of Deus ex machina.

Yes, but they haven't even started fighting. :| This is without a doubt the most hyped fight of the manga and it is ending in less than 5 chapters? It seems rushed.

Only thing ive seen so far is a terrible translation some one put up. I will have to go see for myself it looks like.
