so the logic of 8G guy losing to Madara is still not valid

Naruto has no way whatsoever to even react to 8G guys speed, and his kurama avatar gets wrecked by Evening Elephants,
its never tanking 5 blows from the jutsus, or NM will blow his chest off, and break every bone in his body

The air cannon was tanked by the Gudo Dama, which was cracked by a small Senpo Bijuu Dama. So each air cannon isn't even Mountain level in strength. Juubi's laser>9 Bijuu Dama, yet the BM Avatar tanked that with moderate damage. BSM Avatar is even stronger due to Senjutsu. Evening Elephant's Air Cannons won't even scratch the Kurama Avatar unless you think Gudo Dama and Madara's body>Kurama Avatar in durability.

Direct hits are another story though since it had enough force to smash through the Gudo Dama, putting them far above a regular Bijuu Dama. I'd say with 7 or 8 direct hits at the very least Gai can breach the Avatar. Air Cannons won't cut it though.

It's weak evidence because, as I said before, Juudara was playing with Gai and testing his endurance. If he wanted to, he would have killed Gai the first five seconds of the fight.
A toying Juudara WASN'T killed by Gai - ALMOST doesn't count, so that makes your "evidence" even worse.

Anyway, it would be a tie because if Gai manages to kill Naruto, he'd still die afterwards.
