Sasuke does indeed have tsukuyomi...you're like the only logical Naruto fan I know. Don't be like the rest.

Its required, however he doesn't call it tsukuyomi, just genjutsu or genjutsu sharingan.

Its like his chidori which is above kakashi's lightning blade, but it really is lightning blade in general, but he calls it chidori.

Sasuke likes to have his own style. I'm 100% sure he didn't create enton out of desperation. He created it because of who he is.
Sasuke does have tsukuyomi he's just not as good with it as Itachi.....
Wishful thinking, and you're assuming he doesn't, why? because he hasn't shown it yet? Remeber, itachi transfered all of his visual prowess over to sasuke amongst obtaining his eyes, its not to far fetched my friend. Either way, like #kingofthepirates stated; Naruto always has splot on his side when going up against sasuke... Perfect Jin so the fight would not be boring and he gets 1 shot neg do to genjutsu, and he's always had Kurama to match sasuke uchiha lineage and fighting capabilities.
Are you guys serious? Sasuke doesn't have Tsukuyomi. He is able to cast genjutsu with his eyes, as all other Sharingan/Mangekyo Sharingan can, but he doesn't have the Tsukuyomi.

Each Mangekyo has it's own power, and unlocking both of those powers gives you the third power, Susano'o, as stated by Itachi.

Sasuke's left eye is Amaterasu. Sasuke's right eye is Kagutsuchi. He doesn't have Tsukuyomi.

No dude it is not required, he does not have that jutsu, just stop. He is practically a god now so who cares? He has plenty. ANd lightning blade and chidori are different jutsu and sasuke did not come up with the name chidori so how is it his own style??
lol? this makes absolutely no sense.... are you insinuating that sasuke learned chidori on his own? as a separate jutsu? that is silly... sasuke merely changed the name of the technique kakashi taught him, its the same thing he did with Rock lee's technique, copied it, named it something different. Chidori and Lighting blade is indeed the exact same technique lol But if you care to educate me the difference between basic chidori and lighting blade im all ears:p

It's wishful thinking to assume sasuke does not have Tsukuyomi cause like you stated.... on top of the rest of his large arsenal now, thats one technique that would insure him a victory with very little difficulty. He has it, it is more logical to say he has it, then to say "he doesnt" giving the circumstances and events that took place. However, because kishimoto is going to make it an interesting fight, and naruto as the main character and the hero of the story, the fight is not going to be Genjutsu > The End.

They had the end result of sharingan... So this is unproven, that Jin are immune, until Nardo can't break it...

Just going to say this once.

> Manga says only Uchiha w/sharingan can break Tsukuyomi.
> Even if we completely ignore that fact, Tsukuyomi only lasts an instant and the PJ is going to need at least that much time or more to break it. This isn't up for debate.

....what? He transferred a one-shot Amaterasu to be activated to try and kill Obito upon seeing his Sharingan. That's all. Sasuke's eye powers are Amaterasu and Enton. He does not have Tsukuyomi. Why would he not use his most powerful genjutsu? It's dumb to think that he would hold that back, and you're honestly the one with wishful thinking if you still believe Sasuke can use Tsukuyomi.

And that whole "plot" argument is so dumb. Notice how in part 1 Naruto didn't use summons...If you want to bring up plot armor and all that bs, Sasuke should have died when he fought Deidara, Itachi, and (twice) when fighting Bee, but that's off-topic.

Now that you mention this, I am also curious. How many times Hashirama fall for Madara's great eye power?

Oh Wait! Zero times, and it make sense.

What caused Izuna's death?

Oh wait! he got slashed by Tobirama in spite of his MS. Really?

My opinion is that in the same generation, the uchiha genjutsu is useless against an equivalent Senju. Think about it. Someone with Naruto's amount of chakra and the skill to control it with even being able to connect to 1000 of people and channel chakra in their system, and can sense everything in range of 10s of miles; can not fall for stupid tech like Genjutsu.

I'm sure Sasuke will use Genjutsu at some point. However, the intro will probably be straight Taijutsu. Likewise, the Naruto that Sasuke is fighting is probably not a Kagebunshin.

So let me get this straight. Kakashi and Madara get Obito's eye, they get access to his eye techs. Danzo takes Shisui's eye and gains access to his eye tech. Ao took a Byakugan, and got access to its techs. But Sasuke takes Itachi's eyes, and DOESN'T get his techs? Dafuq?

That wasn't Tsukuyomi. That was just a genjutsu.
No it wasn't. It had the inverted color scale, something ONLY Tsukiyomi has been shown to do.

And to the person that said why wouldn't he use it often, it's because his Tsukiyomi is "A far cry from Itachi's." His Tsukiyomi is weak, and not very effective, but still takes the same toll on his body. All of the side-effects, none of the benefits. Why would he use it?

Kakashi didn't have an eye jutsu beforehand. Madara didn't have a left eye. Danzo didn't have an eye jutsu beforehand. Ao didn't have an eye jutsu beforehand.

Sasuke already has his eye jutsus unlocked, those being Amaterasu in his left eye and Kagutsuchi in his right eye, and Susano'o because he has the other two powers.

It didn't have an inverted color scale. It was just black with Sasuke's Mangekyo. Killer Bee wasn't inverted and there wasn't a red sky or anything like Itachi's Tsukuyomi.

And where was it stated you can only have three? Sasuke and Itachi have four, Shisui had one, and Obito had one with two variants. There is no set number, so nothing indicates you can't have more than one MS ability in an eye.

The fact that a single eyeball can:
1. Perceive time slower
2. Cast genjutsu
3. Cast ninjutsu
4. Copy ninjutsu and taijutsu

Shows that a single eye isn't limited to one ability.

You are absolutely wrong. The problem with your argument is that you are only referring to the transferred abilities. It's dumb to only think about the abilities that Itachi "transferred" to Sasuke. What about when he actually transplanted Itachi's eyes to get his EMS? He could very well have Tsukuyomi and have not shown us it yet.

Anyway, back to the topic. The real problem is will it actually have effect on Naruto and I don't see why it wouldn't. But the question is for how long? If it does then it won't have a very long effect in my opinion. With Naruto's ability to control chakra the way he does and also his mastery with Senjutsu, I think he'd be able to easily regain control of his disrupted chakra flow from the genjutsu.

Sasuke has Amaterasu, Kagutsuchi, and Susano'o

Itachi had Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano'o

Shisui had Kotoamatsukami in both eyes and presumably Susano'o (It was never shown in the manga, but his Susano'o was designed by Kishimoto himself. It could be seen as a "what could have been" if Shisui survived long enough to actually show it. Whether you want to count this is up to you. Though even if you don't, many Uchiha had both Mangekyo and no Susano'o yet so it doesn't matter). There are no details on his eyes and if each eye had some variation to it, like Obito's

Obito had Kamui in both eyes(Left eye being a self-effect of passing through objects and sucking in himself+anything he touches. Right eye being ranged effect that can suck in something farther away without needing contact.) and presumably Susano'o(Kakashi was able to use Susano'o with both eyes. It's reasonable to assume Obito would have been able to as well if he was in better condition).

Perceiving time slower, casting genjutsu, and copying other abilities are things that any Sharingan can do. It's not a Mangekyo power, rather a Sharingan ability.

Izanagi and Izanami are also not Mangekyo powers, as Danzo was using ordinary Sharingan to cast Izanagi. Itachi just happened to have an activated Mangekyo when he used Izanami.

Sharingan abilities =/= Mangekyo powers.

During the Sasuke vs Itachi fight, Itachi told Sasuke each Mangekyo has 1 power. And unlocking both powers gives you the third power, Susano'o.

True, but take into consideration we are comparing a weakend, inexperienced MS user, who casted that genjutsu, but, how long was killer bee out on the ground before he woke up? he was paralyzed at least a good 10 seconds thats my point, its not automatic, in the amount of time sasuke had to relax, hold his right eye for those few seconds, a more knowledgeable and experience sasuke with his current eye would know even if the genjutsu is effective for a short time, thats all he needs to finish the job.

in Bold; you just said why he wouldn't *because of plot* Fact of the matter is, im not saying he has it, I'm not saying he doesn't have it, nobody knows for sure. People just like to assume, the logical thing to "Assume" is that he has it simply because he implanted Itachi's eyes. Did madara not state that among-st taking his brothers eyes he gained all of his visual prowess? So what makes you think sasuke did not? other than, "Oh, because he hasn't used it yet" is just a bullshit statement, period.

The plot argument is not dumb? Naruto was only able to summon Gamabunta because of why? (Kurama infleunce) aka plot, the only reason he wasn't killed by sasuke on multiple occasions, or matter of fact, the only reason naruto wasn't killed or defeated on %95 of his fights was because of (Kurama) Neji<Kurama chakra, Gaara<Kurama chakra, against sasuke he would of been dead that first blow to the chest? (kurama chakra healed him) When sasuke protected him whilst fighting Haku? if it wasn't for (kurama chakra) he would of died... Pein fight? the fight on bridge with orochimaru? enough plot for you? and lets not forget when he openly admitted he needed kurama chakra to fight sasuke "The biggest plot of all"

Now that you mention this, I am also curious. How many times Hashirama fall for Madara's great eye power?

lol? So we went from only a perfect jin can break through a genjutsu to only Senju is completely efficient among-st countering genjutsu? Knock it off, you sound ignorant as hell. How about this, maybe Madara and Izuna was no where near efficient with genjutsu as the new generation of uchiha? What you going to tell me next? because its "Madara" that ultimately means he has superior genjutsu? How about this? Madara simply did not use genjutsu against hashirama? why? who knows..... But I don't recall madara or izuna having genjutsu on par of that Itachi, Shisui or Sasuke, which can completely Paralyze, or make you do what ever you want them to do.

I always interpreted EMS to be a unique eye transfer, where the powers of the original owner and the recipient "merge." From what we've seen, it works more as a chakra boost that refreshes the recipient's previous MS powers; it's not like other eye transplants.

Equally confusing is the fact that Itachi is apparently just more of a Genjutsu type, and is more skilled at it.

Look at it this way: Sasuke will never win a real fight by one-shotting with Genjutsu, because Genjutsu one-shots are a plot device used to convey the caster's strength while avoiding the need to write an actual battle. As a main character, Sasuke gets his own battles. Itachi, on the other hand, only is shown fighting if Naruto or Sasuke is present. The rest of Itachi's fights are Genjutsu one-shots, purely to save time while making him look badass.

Naruto vs. Sasuke is not some cheap fight to be quickly skipped over with Genjutsu; I believe Genjutsu will serve its purpose in either a chain of quick combos or as an excuse to pause the fight for more dialog, but I don't see Genjutsu proving a fatal or even substantial threat.

Final note: one-shotting Sakura with Genjutsu, as well as the Bijuu, is pure plot to get to the one-on-one battle. Sasuke borrowed Itachi's plot device to skip to fighting Naruto.
