[Discussion] What it wise of Naruto to make direct eye contact the entire conversation?

Just something I've been thinking about, do you guys think that was very smart of naruto? do you think this is ultimately going to backfire on him during this fight? Now we all know that perfect jins have been shown to be immune to genjutsu, but not immediately how ever.

If we consider the few times we've witnessed a perfect jin get put under genjutsu, the effect at least held its ground for a good 4-5 seconds or so, but these were MS level genjutsu. Is naruto that confident in his abilities as a perfect jin that he would risk being thrown into a genjutsu via Juubi eye/Sharinnegan? of that magnitude?

Also, is it theory, or does Itachi's statement still stand when he mentioned only a sharingan user can break out of Tsukiyomi? Anyways, just my thoughts, with sasuke having such a high tier dojutsu I don't think that a perfect jin is completely immune to every genjutsu.

Completely agree, naruto clearly is not worried about genjutsu one bit.... But, we know sasuke is extremely proficient even if it's the slightest genjutsu cast when it comes to battle. I think naruto should be worried even just a bit.

No dude it is not required, he does not have that jutsu, just stop. He is practically a god now so who cares? He has plenty. ANd lightning blade and chidori are different jutsu and sasuke did not come up with the name chidori so how is it his own style??

Wishful thinking, and you're assuming he doesn't, why? because he hasn't shown it yet? Remeber, itachi transfered all of his visual prowess over to sasuke amongst obtaining his eyes, its not to far fetched my friend. Either way, like #kingofthepirates stated; Naruto always has splot on his side when going up against sasuke... Perfect Jin so the fight would not be boring and he gets 1 shot neg do to genjutsu, and he's always had Kurama to match sasuke uchiha lineage and fighting capabilities.

I guess you can say its as "Simple as giving chakra to break the genjutsu" but no genjutsu is noticed immediately, and we've only seen perfect jins break out of MS level genjutsu at best.... we have know idea the impact of a genjutsu at sasuke current level would play out against a perfect jin.
