Itachi had all the markings of a great leader. Even Hashirama thought so. The fact is, Naruto is *unfit* to be Hokage.

1) Naruto is too stupid to be Hokage. Leaders aren't flunkies and delinquents in the real world
2) Naruto is too young to lead a nation
3) Naruto lacks wisdom and needs his hand held by Kakashi and others.
4) Naruto is a follower. He always learns from his friends and others. Leaders need to be independent and decisive.
5) Naruto is popular for all the wrong reasons. He's basically only popular because he is the main character and he's persistent. In the real world, nobody would trust someone like Naruto to lead a nation.
6) Naruto doesn't understand politics. Therefore, unable to participate.
7) Naruto is friends with all the wrong people. His allegiance to the TB puts him in direct confrontation with the world. He'd just be another Hashirama, and we saw how well that turns out.

So I will call it right here. Naruto will never become Hokage, because he is unqualified to become Hokage Kakashi will become Hokage, and then Sasuke or Naruto will become Co-Kage. I'll go farther and say Naruto may very well fight to a tie against Sasuke, or lose outright

And what if you're wrong. It's like you're stating a fact, can you see a future ?

Well let's extend the analogy. Naruto is essentially George W. Bush. He's absurdly unfit to be a leader, but he'll win due to silly technicalities and because of plot. He's incredibly, comically unfit to be a leader of even a ramen store, let alone a nation.

Naruto would be a failure as a Hokage. He's too young and too naive, and far too unintelligent. Kakashi or someone else will become Hokage until he grows up.

I agree with the fact that Naruto isn't qualfied to be Hokage, yet, but the Konohagakure
citizens should still have the right to choose their own leader.

Right, but nobody acknowledges Naruto as a leader, just as someone that is strong. The fact is he's not fit to be a leader. He lacks intelligence, wisdom and context. And he's too young. But yeah, ultimately it's manga. He'll become Hokage even though in the real world he'd be an utter failure.

Sasuke doesn't wanna be Hokage in the same sense Naruto does. Instead he wants be somewhat like a vigilante dishing out justice and absorbing all the hate, all the while manipulating the ppl to unify them.

So Sasuke isn't trying to be a leader in the same sense as Naruto, but you do have a few valid points though.

I disagree. Democracy has proven time and time again to be a failure as a system. We've proven it in America by becoming a nation of ignorant, obese TV zombies that are addicted to drugs and war. This will get downvoted and deleted because it's an uncomfortable reality.

Real life -> Democracy sucks. It doesn't work. Votes aren't actually equal AND NEITHER ARE PEOPLE.

Sasuke isn't trying to become the leader. He's trying to row row fight the power, thats really about it. He validly sees the world is united by hate, not by love and peace. Here's what I think:

Kishimoto is going to break the shonen mold. In the end, love and peace and friendship fail. We instead get the real world. A harsh reality where pain and war is inevitable. Naruto doesn't become Hokage. Naruto doesn't beat the genius. Hard work doesn't triumph, and Naruto loses.

Might Guy becomes a cripple. Kakashi wins and becomes Hokage. Sasuke gets the Rinnegan, not Nardo. Sasuke wins, the TB go their own way and don't stay in the world. Rock Lee stays some nameless unmarried fodder, because he's a failure. Hiruzen isn't top 10, Hashirama isn't the god and in the end the Sage's system fails. Naruto loses.

That's my theory.

He has to be strong in order to be acknowledged.

Based on what exactly? Cause it appears you keep repeating this assertions with absolutely nothing.

Hey look:
The problem is you guys are comparing manga world to the real world. The French Revolution has no meaning in a world where ninjas exist. Sasuke's methods would lead to increased peace because the TB would be gone. Naruto has absolutely no answer for obtaining peace.

Even after this fight, it's obvious, Kakashi will be the next Hokage.

Sasuke reasons are like, he wants to take all the hate from the people and is expecting the people to love each other and live in Peace. But that will not be possible if their leader is being hated all the time. No one will live in Peace Instead they'll live in Fear.

After Kakashi, it's true that Sasuke or Naruto will have the chance of becoming Hokage. But Sasuke will refuse because the reasons he had will be nullified by Naruto in the current fight. And hence Sasuke will have no reason to become Hokage and will find another goal to live.
It'll be obvious, Naruto will be appointed as the next Hokage after Kakashi.

EDIT : And it's the people who'll be living in Peace under their leader's shadow. So it's correct that people should choose their Hokage.

Naruto is not fit to be a leader, that's all I am saying. He may be the people's choice, but he has no leadership qualities.

He also lead the whole Shinobi Alliance on the battlefield. Yeah sometimes he got out of the way but he'll be appointing some advisors as well. SO don't worry.
