The Edo Kage feats compared to being alive

First let me say this. Not a hate/wank thread. A real thread.

While alive they were limited to having chakra reserves and injuries but were said to be the strongest of their times.

Hashirama beat Madara in every fight they had. Then beat him again while Madara had the kyuubi under his control. Sage mode and giant mokuton constructs. Senju dna and Ashura chakra descendent.

Tobirama has showed the least battle feats while alive. He killed one of the strongest Uchiha of his time, survived a battle with two psuedo-jin and took on the Kinkaku force alone . Also the best suiton user of all time. Invented many jutsu and senju dna and chakra. Ashura descendent.

Hiruzen, beyond his prime, fought 2 weakened edo hokage and Orochimaru. He showed a few impressive jutsu but none that looked kage level. Capable of using every jutsu in Konoha.

Minato teleported a TBB from Kurama(full form) and fought& beat Obito. Then sealed the fox in his son.(with help). Noted as the fastest shinobi ever. Invented rasengan

Now. As edo their feats may have seemed more impressive due to unlimited chakra and regeneration. But one certain hokage is overrated due to being an edo zombie.

Hashi has showed the same feats he was capable of while alive. Sage mode. Giant mokuton. Barriers and seals.

Tobirama besides the explosive tag jutsu he used, showed the same abilities he was capable of while alive. Ftg. Suiton.

Hiruzen has done similar feats when alive. Besides using all 5 chakra natures which was said he could do he pretty much did the same ish.

Minato has done things that seemed like mega asspulls. Sagemode and Km. Really Kishi? Really? Besides that he also teleported the whole SA which wouldve been impossible if alive. His chakra levels arent that high. While alive he was almost out of chakra after teleporting one Tbb.

Final notes. All the hokage were shown to be impressive while alive but one is overrated due to edo feats. You know who you are.

Tobirama died young, so we can assume that Hashirama did too, since tobirama was young and hokage when he died.
Oddly Madara was actually very old when he died, but was brough back young unlike, Hiruzan and Granny Chio, and various other ninja, that was the weird one...

Sage mode minato isn't as asspull, it was hinted and is totally logical. In fact it wouldn't have made sense for him not to possess it. There's a reason Fukasaku said Naruto had surpassed his predecessors. Minatos sage mode surpasses Jiraya's, and then Narutos sage mode surpasses both of them. Why wouldn't jiraya have taught minato senjutsu? He did call him a once in a decade genius.

KCM, not an asspull. It is said both souls are to fight for all eternity in the reapers belly. So if minato defeated Kurama within the repear, then it's not illogical that he was able to gain Kurama's chakra.

Alive Minato:
- Teleported 2 tailed beasts bombs
- Teleported full Kurama
- used 1 rasengan
- Summoned Gamabunta (takes a lot of chakra)
- used a contract seal
- suppressed the nine tails for several hours (within Kushina)
- used summoning jutsu again (Gerotora)
- used 8 trigrams seal
- used the reaper death seal
- used FTG a total of 13 times (if my count is correct) in 1 night

You really despise minato don't you? You can't credit him for anything. You say he was tired after 1 tbb, and completely disregard everything he did before hand.

Actually, hiruzen is overrated because of his Edo feats. Since he was Edo he suffered no drawback from using 5 clones and large techs all at the same time. Just how Itachi suffered no drawbacks from using MS. Yet some people think alive old hiruzen can do the same as when he was Edo.

I actually like Minato. Coolest looking Hokage to me. Very powerful.

I call his sm an asspull because when he seen Narutos sagemode. Do you recall what he said? Someghing like " he even has master jiraiyas sage mode" if he had sage mode, then why wouldn't he mention himself as well. That seemed like an asspull.

And him having km mode. I know he is a genius and is powerful but for him to get it without any kind of struggle. He was dead not even 5 minutes after he sealed the fox in himself. When did he have time to get it?

He was being humble and respectful. Sage mode was originally Jiraya's technique.

It's the same way Hiruzen called the Reaper Death Seal minato technique, it's giving credit to the originator. Plus kishi may have just wanted to keep it a surprise for later, he does that. Just like how he never once revealed Tobi's MS until the war arc.

Minato was dead 17 years, he had plenty time to fight yin Kurama.
