Hello guys, I would like to share my theory with you how Kaguya will return in one of Naruto movie. Very much possible it will be "The last" movie if it is indeed the last then Kaguya will return as weaker but more intelligent and smart fighter this time being changed or stopped without sealing her.
^^ Fishy and confident smirk of Rabbit demon when spitting Madara Uchiha supposed dead body must mean something.
^^ The reason behind Kaguya getting mad and acting in such evil way is still unknown even to Hagoromo, her son. In the begning Kaguya was carrying and lovely for people. Hagoromo only suspect eating of forbidden fruit is what changed her so much.
^^ Instead of releasing trapped people right away, Both Naruto and Sasuke put it on latter time, could this delay come with no consequences ? Well we know Kaguya wanted to create Zetsu army for some unkown purpouse but it could give Kaguya also other profit.
^^ Even Recently Naruto mentioned that battle against Kaguya forced them to unite to fight against greater threat.
^^ Kaguya was able to absorb chakra from all living beings trapped inside Infinite Tsukuyiomi.
My theory is following: Rabbit demon is Kaguya's chakra avatar since she ate forbidden fruit. She spit Madara for purpouse, the purpouse of Madara's body was acting as Medium forcing and keeping still IT active so she could absorb all the chakra from the people. Madara may died but his body is still around and Kaguya knew that Madara would be summoned with rest of them. She was also one entity with Madara at one point so she would use their connection to her advantage. Naruto and Sasuke putting relase of IT on later causes the chakra to be still sent to Kaguya so after enough amount of chakra She will bust the moon and escape. Of course she will be greatly weakened, unable to return as she will be very much weakened so she will fall asleep for time being. Naruto and Sauske will somehow come to agreement and release IT.
Some day in future Kaguya will awake and return. This time Kaguya will be weaker but she will be smarter and more intelligent also using battle strategic as she learnt from her last mistake. This time both Naruto and Sasuke realize sealing her will not work, so the only choice will be either kill her or somehow convince her to turn good and live among people. It will be ultimate reason for Naruto and Sasuke to unite for last time ending their conflict and differences once and for all.
