I watched the whole movie. I was not too impressed by it since it had so many things wrong with it. It was just a comedy movie to make the audience laugh. If the new series is gonna be something like this, Than its best the series stays dead. You are right that it did open up a new possibility for a direction a new DBZ series could follow. But is wanting to be stronger than the gods really appealing direction?
why not? goku wants to be the strongest person in the universe? why not in the entire omniverse? hes probably going to need dragon balls to wish him immortal if he wants to always stay in his form and not get old. but it definitely possible.
like i said if they continue dragon ball i hope its akira toriyama that does it, because without him the series would become piece of shit just like GT. shitty villians, shitty battles, shitty music, inconsistencies.
same goes to dragon ball heroes, it pisses me how they just milk and use the same re-recycled characters, same villians coming back to life and other crap, when akira got his hands on the dragon ball the series became like 1000000 more interesting that any person ever could create.
same goes to steve jobs when he came back to work for apple, look at the ipad tablet he invented that every copycat industry is selling for like 99 bucks, look at the iphone 4 design he created, now that hes dead, apple just lost their inovation. and every year is just another ripoff of another iphone either from original iphone 4 design or from ipod touch 4g. with faster speeds that most people dont even notice unless their iphone is like from 2008 or something
