I believe that Sasuke wants to be the villain so naruto can be the hero and they act so the alliance stays together hating him so they wont hate each other. Like he wants to make his own version of Itachi's sacrifice, pretty much a good plan for me... What do you think?

Yes it would make sense but I think the most likely scenario would be having Sasuke and Naruto as Hokages to make the balance instead of Sasuke bearing all the hate and let Naruto be the hero everyone loves. That would lead to the same problem Madara had...

We already know that he failed, he can kill some of them that would led to hate of other villages and fight against him, if the keep alliance to fight him like "enemy of my enemy is my friend", its better than fanfics
