I seriously find this hilarious. Sasuke is talking about killing Naruto because he's the closest thing to a best friend he's ever had. We can definitely confirm that Sasuke feels close to Naruto emotionally. But if Sasuke had to delete the past, that would have to include any love interest as well. No matter how small, if Sasuke even felt a grain of love towards her he would have to cut that off. Guess who didn't even get a tiny reminiscing panel this chapter? ****ing SAKURA. She as so forgotten this chapter.

He LITERALLY didn't kill her because he had no reason to. He feels NO emotional connection to her and so he doesn't think she'll be a problem for his future goal. Her blood isn't on his hands right now because he honestly could not care less to kill her, she is alive simply on a whim. Nothing more, nothing less.

This is true. Some non-pairing/Sasuke fans have already brought this up. He wishes to forget about his family and move on. He wants to kill Naruto and then continue as well. Those are the only real connections he cherishes. (other than Taka, but Taka was created by him and will support his new system, no reason to kill them).

If love consists of trying to kill partner, I guess I am a young, wet behind the ears, fella then. But I'm pretty sure that someone who tries to kill you either doesn't love you, or loves you far too much. Which is it in this case? A girl who stays in a relationship like that, where is her family and friends? Why do you guys allow that? Why have cops not been alerted? So many questions.

If I had to say SS would happen for any reason it would be because Sasuke doesn't hate Sakura like he lets on and he would feel guilty for making her feel the way she does. Making her experience similar emotions to what he did when he was still clinging to his past. -__-

In my opinion, he didn't kill her cause she is not a threat to his goal but he did put her under a brutal genjutsu like that to sever her feelings fom him cause they might be a threat somehow...otherwise he could just knock her out like he did previously without killing her or something and no need to put her under psychological torture...
