And they opposed his world domination? I don't think Sasuke would kill them, I don't even think Sasuke cares about the world as much as Naruto does. The difference between Naruto and Sasuke is Naruto was left with the quest to bring peace to the world by someone he cares about, Jiraiya. Nobody Sasuke cares about left Sasuke with the quest to bring world peace. Not only that, but Naruto has been shown as good hearted, except when he's mad. The same can't be said for Sasuke, he's always been about hatred and missing his family. So, if it came down to it, I think Sasuke would choose his family over his new goals. I doubt Itachi is just the past to Sasuke now.
