in my opinion i believe both are right to some extend. because like naruto said "you cant do everything on your own, especially during the kaguya fight" the problem is is sasuke is a freaking human!!! he has limits in the end. i mean hes not even a continent buster. let alone planet busters and there are some people in other that can destroy solar system and galaxies, what if sephiroth showed up to naruto verse and decided to kill everyone, could sasuke defend his village? could he defeat sephiroth? hell no!
also it was stated by itachi that what he tried to do everything by himself like kill the uchiha clan to protect the treaty against village and by doing that on his own he failed in the end.
and another reason i think sasuke is right is because his mentality on becoming hokage doesnt come from the views and judgment of other people. and it comes from this quote "its not what people think of you in the end, it what you though of yourself" itachi is a perfect example, we know that when we first introduced him, how did the society of naruto tries to view him to us? a murder of his own clan and family! and an evil rouge ninja, but when we start his point of view, we get closer to the truth.
how did society and others viewed naruto in the begging? society hated him, even sometimes for no reason, simply because those people that were part of the society and they were though to hate him. ways of that could be spreading rumors about somebody and telling him that he is this and that, and people believe that and tell it to their people.
even though their far from the truth from the point of view of that person that they hate.
what do you think?
