I think Tobirama may have slightly better reactions than Minato but this isn't the scan to show it. Minato clearly had other things on his mind

Exactly, imagine Hashirama getting evil, and Tobirama doesn't want to kill him. It is just the same as Minato concerned about Obito being evil, while Tobirama never met them in real life ( Naruto world ), because he was dead long time ago.

Minato as an individual isnt anything special. Tobirama inve ted his arsenal the biuji the original rasenga is the beast bomb and the fuinn jutsu are from the uzumaki. So what makes people tbink he has the ability to pick up things. He was omly made kage because Orochimaru was a bit crazy.

So Tobirama figured the senjutsu thing, and automatically assumed/sensed Naruto with the senjutsu rasengan. FTW rofl.
But, i realized that Tobirama picked that up quick, and was on it , with teleporting Naruto without even talking to him or anything.

^^^ Experience difference? reaction difference? Reflex difference? intelligence difference?


Oh my god this scene in the anime was NICEE. The anime seems to be better in regards to this fight in my opinion.

it could've just been that Minato wasn't in his sensor mode and Tobirama was already in his. Minato was preoccupied with Obito since they had a prior association. When Hashirama noticed someone was outside the room he and Tobirama had that "conversation", no one didn't think any less of Tobirama when he was too preoccupied with lecturing Hashirama to notice it as well.

He actually noticed when Naruto made the rasengan, by that time Tobirama was already acting upon the opportunity. Also, i do think fighting and bringing down was their priority.. and not talking.. lol.

He had no idea until the attack hit, Though he was too busy hearing Obito's harsh words and the reality of it was true.
