I have seen threads where people have stated that Uchiha bodies weren't suited to be jinchuuriki? Where do people get this logic? Obito and Madara became 10 tails jinchuurikis and perfectly controlled it. Even if you discount them on account of the facts that both of them had Senju DNA and one of them was a transmigrant that assimilated both Indra's and Ashura's chakaras, there has still been no statement in the manga that has suggested that some random Uchiha like Fugaku or Shisui couldn't be a jinchuuriki.
In fact, Uchihas were said to be known to have powerful chakara (which is key in suppressing a bijuu). Their chakara limits are not known to be too shabby either. Izuna (who was not a transmigrant) was said to have power and chakara that rivaled Madara. If you point to Itachi as evidence of Uchihas having poor chakara reserves, remember that Itachi was sick and his chakara reserve was already noted not to be as large as some others'.
Furthermore, plenty of shinobi who aren't even from a known clan have been jinchuuriki. Such examples include Bee, Fu, Gaara, Yugito, etc... Surely Uchihas (who are direct descendants of Kaguya and Hagoromo) would have a lot more inherent power in their bodies than random people who aren't from any known clans.
If you use the fact that the village has only made Uzumakis the jinchuurikis of Kurama as your reason for thinking that Uchihas can't handle bijuus, then I should inform you that this was only the case because Mito became Kurama's jinchuuriki first and she worked out fine due to her Uzumaki vitality and ability to suppress Kurama. That is why the village wanted to keep it in the clan. Of course Naruto got Kurama as a result of circumstances.
Now if I am wrong and there has been a statement somewhere in the manga that suggests that Uchihas don't have the bodies for a bijuu, then please post a scan or a link. Otherwise, can someone please explain where that belief comes from?
