Was watching the anime today [terrible animations] and I started to think, how come two very powerful unbeatable ninja died from a similar disease during battle.
My theory is Kimimaro , Shin (Sai's bro)and Itachi were all secret lovers. Kimimaro boned both of them and gave them Ninja H.I.V.
Or shinobi aids.
Symptoms of Shinobi aids include....Chronic coughing. Coughing up blood. Dying in battle . Badass moments. Edo tensei reincarnation.
Another possible victim of Ninja H.I.V. is Hayate (chunin exam proctor). He showed signs of early Shinobi aids and could have caught it from Itachis many visits to the leaf village.
I started thinking. Who else couldve caught this disease. My first candidate was Lord Orochimaru who had lots of contact (***) with Kimimaro. Even though Kabuto couldn't find a cure for it, he just switched bodies. Instant Ninja aids cure. Sasukes lucky he didnt get Oros snake in him.
