Do the animtors watch the episodes before releasing them?

Isn't the animation process extremely segmented? Meaning no one's really seeing anything but the part they're working on and the people seeing the final product aren't the ones who actually made the whole thing? The editors are probably the only ones seeing the whole episode.

You can't expect a top notch animation for anime that's been running for 12 years.

They fluctuate pretty wildly in quality, even within the span of the the same episode. But still at this point since I've already read what's going to happen in the manga I'm just in it because I want to see the events I already know of play out in an animated medium. Aside from that, the animators do a pretty badass job as far as inserting fight scenes that weren't in the manga or expanding upon pre-existing fight scenes as was the case with Madara's initial fight with the alliance and Kakashi vs Obito recently.

Well they have made a shitload of money so they have it guaranteed that people will be watching it till the end since most of use have invested time in this series. They can do whatever they want.
