Greed Island Arc vs Sword Art Online

Which of the above was better? Which did you like more?

Greed Island was better for me. But out of an anime that deals with being "online" i have always enjoyed the .hack series

Well, never really watched SAO, but since GI and SAO are game based, I liked to pit them to see how would people respond with.

Most series or arcs or whatever are better than SAO in Aincrad and Fairy Dance if you don't take animation, sound and VAing into consideration.
Well, VAing in most anime is done good, even in hentai.

So I'll say Greed Island>SAO.
Phantom Bullet, Mother's Rosario and Alicization are great though.
Alicization in particular.

You're completely wrong, friend. It's from Hunter x Hunter. If you haven't checked it already, then I heavily suggest you to go and watch Hunter x Hunter 2011.

I'm getting sick and tired of people telling me to watch it.

I'll watch it when I can, unlike some people on this website I actually have things to do.

But yeah, at least thanks for telling me it's from HxH.
And if it's from HxH it should be better than SAO most likely.

I loved Greed Island arc, but it wasn't even the best arc in HxH.. Hunter Exams & Chimera Ant were both better arcs imo!

With that said.. SAO is better than Greed Island, and that too is just my honest opinion.

Greed Island is supposed to be a fun arc. The arc itself wasn't too significant, but it had very important factors. Such as, preparing Gon and Killua for future events not only in nen training but also with their combat intelligence, hence why we saw Killua doing Compton dive-by's throughout the Chimera Ant arc. We also find out that the Nen Exorcist was on Greed Island, which was how Togashi was going to reintroduce Chrollo to Dark Continent. Chrollo is a huge antagonist and he certainly wasn't going to go down so easily, so introducing the Nen Exorcist in Greed Island was a good idea.
