Will we really not get to see Jiraiya again before the manga ends? As a writer myself, I must say, that would be an incredibly odd, and just plain wrong, move for Kishi to make.
Jiraiya, at some point, held major relevance. And still does, being that he affected Naruto's life nearly as much as Itachi affected Sasuke's.
We didn't even get to see him as an Edo. So, can't we at least see him as a soul or maybe in Naruto's dream or something?

I am glad that he hasn't come back with new dialog. His death was perfect and honorable. Any further appearances, outside of flash backs, would kind of ruin his death for me.
