What he did is horrible and shouldn't be forgiven ,but clearly he has mental problems from the abuse he got.
Maybe this would be a lesson for bullies .

And he knows he shouldn't have beat them up. He said he snapped. I believe he was trying to act like he should, appropriate for his age.Don't get me wrong, I think 19 is still a kid. But at 19 he has some responsibilities, rights and so on so he is supposed to behave accordingly (the law says that at least and they say the law has a long arm, people fought the law and the law won, so you shouldn't go against it lmao). Or else I could argue that he shouldn't have those rights too. Which would be a very good idea but that's another subject

Well the point of his sentence is to snap less next time he is around people. Or at least that's supposed to be.

You can't control the snapping. He obviously need to see a therapist or something comparable. If the name callers were two dudes and they got their faces kicked in there wouldn't be this kind of a problem, would there?
Maybe this could also teach people that do not treat others like shit or they CAN go batshit crazy and **** you up.

Implying all he is gonna do during his sentence is reading Harry Potter books. Of course he will receive some treatment of the sort but in the meanwhile we can't have him strolling around stabbing kids can we? What if they call him Peter Parker next time?The fudge.

They matter a bit. It's another thing for me to say that "Go **** yourself you &^#%@@ *#&^@% *#&^! with a *$&@^@! in the *#&^^@ and your mom *&#^@^! you *!#&^%* sock *#&^! %*%head" and another to say "Yo momma so fat, the hat assinged her to the house of pancakes"

This boy was bullied until he snapped, it had nothing to do with HP comments, the fact that he knew they would follow him means that this girls have shown persistent tormenting and aggressive behaviour towards him many times before. He was bullied until he could take no more and instead of addressing the horrifying aspect that two human beings could be so cruel as to drive another to such lengths for there own amusement, we villainize the boy and add more bullying comments to the frey, I do not condone what he did but I have no sympathy for those girls, none.
They ruined his life because they found it fun to torture him and they are portrayed as the victims, I'm just glad he didn't kill himself like so many others, he will get out in a year or so for good behaviour and then maybe he can get his life back on track. I hope these girls learnt a lesson, but I doubt it.

I was bullied by my classmates and other people in school. In class people would punch me each in class while the teacher is looking away. If I try to say something they told me I will be jumped after school.
In gym kids will throw rocks at me,along with balls and if a ball bounce over me they will say I have an angel watching me.
Kids would call me gay pinky cause my red shirt was faded and at the time guys didn't wear a shirt that looks pink at my school.
So I know how it is to be bullied,but I will never lose it like this guy did. Shows that he was weak

That was unneeded. Not only does he need a backbone, but he needs some therapy. They hurled words at him only words. By law, the dude is considered a man, so to act like this because of some childish insults? I don't think the girls were right to bully him, but to get stabbed in the face, and one almost beaten to death? Little Harry Potter has some issues.
