Itachi is the 5th strongest Dojutsu genjutsu user

Like the title says..5th. A lot of you may not want to admit this which will result in not reading the thread. Thats fine, ill continue anyway.

No particular order. Doesn't matter cause this is about itachi not those guys.

Itachi is a very skilled genjutsu user, he's shown a large variety of genjutsu's. Which is why many believe he is the best. But compared to the elite 4 I just listed, his strongest genjutsu Tsukuyomi isn't better than what the others have shown. Feat wise.

Itachi Tsukuyomi is great without a doubt but it has flaws that with knowledge you won't get caught in it.

1. Range. Tsukuyomi is a short genjutsu
2. Usage. He can only cast it once in a fight. After that it leaves him crippled during the fight(if continued) drawbacks are too great.
3. Limited to one person. He hasn't shown the ability to put multiple people under Tsukuyomi. Even if, I can only imagine the drawbacks. Basically, he isn't stupid enough to do it even if he could.

1. Madara - Shown to place Kurama under genjutsu WITHOUT the need of MS. Not saying this better than Tsukuyomi.
Itachi seems to think that you need MS to place a bijuu under genjutsu. Madara says or nah.

2. Sasuke - May have started off slow but now he is arguably the best Genjutsu user in NV.
Solo Glance > Tsukuyomi no debate. Doesn't have restricted range and has shown to place up to 9 beings under genjutsu in one glance. GG

3. Shisui - Hyped by itachi himself. KA > Tsukuyomi. I should'nt have to explain and im not going to explain. GG

4. Obito - Accomplished a genjutsu feat that was said to be impossible. Placed a perfect Jin under genjutsu using 3 tomoe sharingan. This is so disrespectful towards the other greats. No one else has done this other than obito. Itach tried..failed. Sasuke tried...failed.

For extras, Obito COULD have used Infinite Tsukuyomi. He didnt so ill just leave this out.

If this can't convince people that elite 4 > Itachi in genjutsu then idk what can.

He referred to the Sharingan as a weapon,and pretty much said it's the user that makes the weapon strong,which is obvoius.

Itachi is best dojutsu user ifwe consider it on equal platforms i.e. MS or below.

All Uchiha can control or suppress tailed beast with 3 tomoe, Itachi simply never tried. Even Sasuke suppressed Kurama's power at the battle in Orochimaru's hideout.

Never tried and never happened are the same thing. Sasuke "suppressed" he didn't control and place under genjutsu. There are people without Dojutsu that can suppress bijuu. Naruto kisame bee hashirama just a few.

Shisui is not above Itachi in Genjutsu.

Shisui has one powerful genjutsu, Thats it. That doesn't make him a skilled or top tier genjutsu user.

Must not have read the scan under shisuis name. KA > tsukuyomi. Strongest genjutsu in the uchiha clan. That one genjutsu overpowers ever genjutsu itachi has. A battle of genjutsu between the two ends with shisui as the victor. Not saying he's a better ninja than itachi. He's not.

Tsukuyomi is the second most potent doujutsu-based genjutsu, after KA, as Itachi could freely manipulate time and space inside it. No other genjutsu cast through the eyes is on that level, in that regard.

Itachi controls the perception of time/space, while only inside of Tsukiyomi, which even with his skill is not possible without MS.

So Tsukiyomi is basically like a bad dream, to put it simply.

I agree with everything but remember than Madara, Sasuke and Obito had senju DNA, which increased their capabilities. Itachi only had MS (which was losing its light) And we all know Shisui's genjutsu was OP.

If Itachi has senju DNA in him well then that's a different story.

Madara and Sasuke are definitely ahead of Itachi in this regard, Shisui is debatable, but I do not see how Obito is ahead genjutsu wise. Pure power, Obito is definitely ahead though.

Then again, Danzo is pretty good at genjutsu with his KA, so maybe he wins (then again, he lost to MS Sasuke). Kaguya made the moon plan, she's probably ahead.

If you count all genjutsu users, then the second Mizukage is pretty close too.
