Naruto Uzumaki

Avatar Aang

Or

Luke Skywalker

Three heroes from three different franchises, all known for their determination, their unwillingness to curb under adversity, and their all-loving hero status, always willing to show mercy and spare their enemies.

First we have Naruto Uzumaki, son of Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze, Naruto is the host of Nine Tails, and due to that, was an outcast most of his life. However, he eventually found friends, and grew into a true hero, willing to lay his life down for his friends, and having such compassion he can turn even the coldest, hardest hearts to his side. Notable achievements include befriending Kurama, the embodiment of hatred, redeeming Obito Uchiha, a man once thought to be pure evil, and repeatedly saving the Shinobi Alliance singlehandedly.

Next we have Aang. Aang was the last avatar (preceding Korra) and was only 12 years old when he was told, despite the normal age being 16. Being the Avatar, Aang could control all 4 elements, and was meant to help keep balance in the world. However, Aang ran away from his duties out of fear, winding up trapped in an iceberg in the South Pole. 100 years later, Aang is awoken by two siblings (Sokka and Katara) and learns that much of the world, including his people (the airbenders), have fallen to the Fire Nation, who began a vicious war. Over the course of a year, Aang must master all four elements, and, along the way, manages to make many friends, and spreads hope in a world that desperately needed it. He eventually manages to master all four elements and fulfills his duties by restoring balance. As a hero, Aang was deeply compassionate, with an extraordinary respect for life, going so far as to put his own soul on the line to spare Fire Lord Ozai (evil leader of the Fire Nation), and rescuing his, then enemy, Zuko (the man that would later become his best friend).

Aang and Zuko stand before a crowd of people, for Zuko's coronation and to declare the end of the 100 Year War.

Finally, we have Luke Skywalker. Luke started out as a simple farm boy on a backwater planet, until the arrival of two droids, and a revelation from an old man, thrust him onto the path of the hero. Luke was first to be trained by jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi, following in his father's footsteps. After his mentor's death, he destroys the awful war machine known as the Death Star, and becomes a known hero in the Rebellion, bringing hope to the galaxy over he course of only three years. Eventually, his true jedi training begins under the legendary Master Yoda, with his first challenge being his first confrontation with Darth Vader, wherein he learns the true identity of his father, choosing to likely death than to join him. He then makes it his resolve to save his father, going so far as to sacrifice his life for this cause, a move that changes Vader's cold heart and brings him back to the light. He was, like he others, truly compassionate, risking death and torture for his friends, and sacrificing himself rather than falling to the Darkside. He truly believed in the good in people, and refused to believe Obi-Wan and Yoda's words when they said his father was irredeemable.

By the way, I like all three, so I'm pretty much unbiased here.

IK she's not on the list, but I think Korra should be added.

Idk, I just love her whole character design.

But, I'd say Aang cause Naruto really has no true intentions besides Sasuke and becoming hokage. And Luke went evil and killed some people.

I vote Luke.

The universe was not so clear cut black and white for him, he had to grow up and die to his own emotions in order to combat his own fathers empire... That takes a lot. He was strong with the force and trained when he was a lot older than his father and yet came out shining, and had every reason to do whatever he wanted in the wake of his discovery and losses.

Haven't watched/read Star Wars so I won't vote. If it was between Aang and Naruto then I find it really hard to choose between them. But reading the comments it seems like Luke Skywalker has done much greater things than the other 2.

Umm I guess Luke or Aang. Not exactly sure but I think Luke made peace by destroying/ending the seth empire. Aang ended the fire nation's war, and helped a lot of people around the world, which inevitable lead to the society in LoK.

Hmm I'm leaning towards Aang since I know slightly more of what he did, as opposed to Luke.

Yeah, I voted Aang, I think it takes a lot of guys to believe in something so strongly (the sanctity of life) that you'd go against what everyone is telling you to protect it, even the life of someone as awful as Ozai.

Luke no diff

Aang and Naruto saved a world

Luke saved multiple
They're all extremely similar actually. I can't tell who has the most tragic story. In between Aang, and Luke. Naruto had it bad but not as bad as those two. Aang lost all his people, Luke lost his father, never knew his mother, kissed his sister ._., and his nephew killed his wife

Well, Naruto had it bad too, being unloved for the first 13 years of your life must seem like torture, if he was powerful, he likely would've been another Gaara.
