N didn't beat light , shit he wasn't even close , they jumped light he was fighting with l, mello, matt, and near and the biggest mistake was trusting that stupid guy that always says delete and lets not forget the fact that mello sacrificed himself so that takada Don't interfere so yeah they jumped the man -_-

He still died like a *****. Rewatch it and you'll see, he starts yelling about how he's the only that can change the world then gets mad when Matsuda shoots him. I love Light but the way we went out was out of character.

I wouldn't say it was out of character. Bear in mind the huge ego he'd been building all the way up to the finale ever since he found the Death Note. He'd been outsmarted a few times up to that point, but he hadn't been completely defeated. He was a guy with a "God complex" who wound up losing against all odds and he lost his mind because of it. Yeah, he behaved a little differently than we're used to seeing him, but it was a completely natural transition.
