He's doing what he feels is right and he already stated that he doesn't want something like the Uchiha massacre to ever happen again. The kage have started wars and killed millions, he obviously saw them as corrupt.

Totally different scenarios. The Uchiha were being oppressed and the only one who would listen to their plea was Hiruzen. The rest of the council didn't care what they had to say. They probably wanted a seat on the council and were denied.



The Bijuu are walking atomic bombs. Anyone can just go an steal their power like Akatsuki and Madara. Then the whole world is at risk of becoming extinct.

The Jinchuriki were protected by the village and still got caught. So obviously protecting them is useless.

Sasuke sees that the only alternative is to seal them away for good.

Sasuke isn't a coward. He just revealed information as it was necessary, since there were at last 3 other obstacles that were in his way before now. He just focused on the goal one step at a time.

And Sasuke is not like Danzo - he's not about doing dirty work in the dark. On the contrary, as soon as Kaguya was out of the picture, he let his intentions be known. He could have attacked Naruto when he wasn't expecting it, but he chose a direct confrontation (also disproves the being a coward.)
