Obito's Identity

It's well established now that the true identity of "Tobi" was Obito, but who did you you think it was and why?

The moment that I heard the name "Tobi" I instantly thought of Obito, because the name "Tobi" twice spells "Tobitobi". This would also explain why he has MS with Kamui like Kakashi, only has a hole in the spot for his right eye (because we saw him give Kakashi his left eye) and it was a fairly cliche asspull, even before Kishi pulled it.

Who else would have fit the role of Tobi?

Shisui had no eyes left, but even if he had an eye with Kamui, he was said to be far too kind. Izuna would have worked because he is Madara's brother, except the story of Madara stealing his eyes messed it up a bit whereas if they simply traded eyes it would have worked. Kagami is basically filler.

To be fair, it was kinda obvious. A black haired guy with an orange mask gets killed, then later another black haired guy with an orange mast and pretty much the same god damn name shows up. Obviously there's been some Deus Ex Madara there.

I figured he was Madara. I thought Madara infused his will into a White Zetsu(not too far off from what really happened I guess), and had it infuse into Obito's dead body. After Madara died, his personality and powers were "reborn" into Obito's body, essentially making a clone of Madara from Obito's body.

Yah, but I had thought if he could still "see" with no eyes like Madara until he obtained a spare pair of sharingan, became "evil" in someway and somehow obtained Obito's sharingan by finding his body next a boulder . Lol Obviously, this next happened. =D Izuna acting as Tobi was also believable because he followed the Curse of Hatred throughout and seemingly died while following it. I had a theory he might have used Izanagi and somehow survived long enough to declare a war and bring the plan of Tsuki no me to fruition. This also did not happen.

By the way, Kagami is not a filler character. hmm

Well I always thought it was Obito but then again I never really thought about it and since I used to be so far behind I was kinda spoiled since my older brother and sister watched it too...

But some people thought it could be Konohamaru's father; Asuma's brother; Hiruzen's other son.. You know- cause Sarutobi...
And we never found out who that was.

I guess if I hadn't known I would have instantly thought Izuna or something..but yeah! Idk know really..
