Im gonna STOP reading the manga.

It's pretty easy. I didn't watch the anime for like half a year once. Same thing but with the manga.

It's different because you already know what will happen in the Anime.

I could. U_U It's not as hard as people think. U_U Just recently I had like 10 episodes of Naruto banked up. I've had that happen a few times. There are loads of better series than Naruto that you could "occupy" yourself with anyway.

As someone who finishes pretty lengthy series' in weeks time, waiting 2 and a half years to finish a series is absurd.

At that point I don't believe that I had yet read the manga. After that rough half-a-year and catching up, I read the manga.

It's similar to manga series that only update MONTHLY if you think about that. Granted you would get roughly 32 chapters in that 2 1/2 years, but if you waited you'd get them all at once. I dunno, I find it not difficult at all. I also wait for newer anime to completely release: for example: I have waited for Akame ga Kill, SAO2, Tokyo Ghoul amongst others. I even waited for the complete release of AoT last year all without reading the manga, and knowing that they are good.
