When did Sage Naruto get close to Nagato? I remember he got close to Pain, got owned, and then saved by Hinata......

Nagato is on a completely different scale than Six Paths. The weakness of the Six Paths lies in the fact that they have individual powers and can't support one another on instant. Nagato can use any of the 6 paths on a whim for any situation.

Km naruto got close to Nagato and got owned along with killer bee.

Because of the debris and smoke from the broken chibaku tensei. He didnt see it coming. Thats what got him.
