But why didnt he put Naruto under genjutsu and finish him off


I mean, if hes the best, surely he can do this, cant he

I mean, I understand that Naruto is a perfect Jin but lol, he couldnt even break Itachi's finger genjutsu and Itachi wasnt even trying (Itachi solos)


So plz, provide a valid reason other than plot

Hmm, interesting...

Kurama probably wasn't able to break it on his own, once Naruto got caught in it. Their chakras need to both be "cooperating" (for lack of a better term), as do they, to achieve that, that's the fundamental basis of being a Perfect Jinchuuriki.

Up until they became pals, Kurama's chakra came out through Naruto's rage. That was more or less the sole condition. Naruto was in no way enraged either time when he was caught.

Obito could put a Bijuu under Genjutsu. He probably just pushed Yagura into a full transformation, and placed him and the Bijuu under Genjutsu at once.

Or did the same thing as Sasuke, and suppressed the Isobu. Or extracted the Bijuu and controlled the dead body or the almost dead Yagura. When Obito stabbed Konan, and she started dying, he placed a Genjutsu on her and said "When the Genjutsu ends, your life will as well", indicating that his Genjutsu sustained her life.

Obito could have done the same to Yagura. Extracted Isobu from him, and right before he died, used the Genjutsu on him that allowed him to control Yagura's body. He cleaned up the body and by siphoning off chakra and life force from the Mazou, kept the Genjutsu going up until he met Kisame, at which point he released the Genjutsu and Yagura finally died. Obito showed the ability to have sustained Genjutsu for extended periods of time when he kept Fu and Torune under Genjutsu the entire time they were trapped in his dimension.

Before you go calling it "just assumptions", remember it's better than your braindead questions.
