Just what I imagine, by the way:

- Naruto vs Sasuke battle fiercely, but this battle ends in a discussion where Sasuke teaches Naruto about his revolution

- Naruto promises Sasuke to search for a way to implement Sasuke's revolution without having to kill anyone

- Sasuke gives an ultimatum to Naruto: Sasuke will leave Konoha for some time. If Naruto isn't able to search for an answer that considers Sasuke's revolution, Sasuke will come back and take the power by force, killing anyone who doesn't agree, around the world

- Naruto accepts Sasuke's proposal

- Sasuke (as Indra's transmigrater) leaves the world among with Hagoromo, because these two still have a long discussion to settle

- Naruto decides to leave Konoha as well, to travel as Jirayia did in the past, and starts a pacific revolution that considers Sasuke's answer to peace.

- IT released

- Some years passes, Kakashi became hokage, and Sasuke comes back (forging the perfect prelude for...) "The Last: Naruto the Movie", where Sasuke must discover if Naruto came with an answer that satisfy him.

New Era project, of which the movie is called the opening.

The manga is not ending. Shueisha is making too much money on it.

Somehow it seems like Naruto needs Sasuke authorization because he is superior which he is not..

Au contraire. Sasuke needs to understand that if he forces his way, the way of power, Sasuke will necessarily fail. Sasuke is nowhere near to be superior in this case... Sasuke must learn about this before it's too late.

The paradox relies in how he is interpreting the tailed beasts. The Ashura's path, the path of Love, is about cooperation (beasts willingly going to give power). The Indra's path is the path of Power, it is about tools (beasts will be controlled to be used as sources of power).

Sasuke's judgement is clearly biased in this case.
