TF good are the ship's powers if the main place it works on takes them away?

The only one that makes sense is the flying one or the Battle Franky one, and I highly doubt the Strawhats even know the process.

It wasn't ever said that a Artifical fruit has the same weaknesses.
But the ship still might be able to use its powers in the sea anyways since its a ship and majority of its mass is above water and most Df users only lose their powers when the water level reaches above their knees and aslong as the ship doesn't sink far enough into the water to have its "knees" under it should still be able to change and fly or what ever.

But I did say it was out of the box.
