sasuke does care for sakura

693 gave us more development on sasuke's character. The chapter showed us that because everything sasuke loved was taken from him, he switches the 2 emotion around(love and hate). He most likely feels that as long as he doesn't love anything, then he wont go through what happened in the past. This is evident when he tells kakash,"that's a thing of the past for me now."(with a picture of his family)

Whether sasuke has feelings for sakura or not, we won't know until naruto manages to dissolve the hate thats in his heart.

Have people actually considered the possibility of the reason why Sasuke's genjutsu was depicted in such a manner is because he wants to act the like the bad guy in front of Sakura? This may convince alot of people but I believe that this is Sasuke's way of making Sakura give up on him, not because he sees Sakura as a worthless piece of crap many readers label her, but because he, strangely enough, genuinely cares about her well being, even if he's shown to knock her out with such a level of Genjutsu. I see it as Sasuke finally severing that attachment Sakura has to him so she doesn't hurt herself in the long run along the path Sasuke has chosen and because from Sasuke's perspective he doesn't deserve to be loved. Again, this comment may not get through a whole lot of people, but at least consider looking at it from both sides of the spectrum.

The fact that he gave that smile and called her annoying doesn't mean he doesn't care for her. He may not love her as she does him but she is still a big part of his history. He was a part of team 7 and those "bonds" are not so easily severed. Even for Sasuke. As hard as he tries to erase the past he is still attached to it.

This is why I think he will be TnJ by Naruto after they fight. Though I am hoping Sasuke is beyond TnJ, but....

since I want to be role model for young females I think second one is better I dont want young females to be chasing dangerous guy like sasuke, or SS is offically the worst most sick pairing in NV

However, I think there is more to Sasuke's decision to not kill Sakura. If he had killed Sakura, there would be no going back. Right now, he is only being a selfish jerk, but if Sasuke ever crossed the line into an outright criminal (beyond just saying it), then the readers would lose that little bit of doubt about his true intentions.

Plus, if Sasuke had killed Sakura, Naruto would have no reason to hold back. Therefore, instead of trying to reason with him, Naruto would have likely just spiked him with a couple TBB or TB chakra Rasengan. In other words, Naruto would likely mop the floor with Naruto. If you think about it, Naruto has essentially been fighting people with the same techniques and abilities as Sasuke since the start of Shippuden (Itachi, Pain, Tobi/Obito, Madara, etc.). I don't think there will be anything that Sasuke has in his arsenal that could legitimately surprise Naruto. In other words, Naruto knows everything about Sasuke's abilities that Sasuke does. The only real secrets that Sasuke has are Izanami and Izanagi (and the movie teaser shows him with both eyes).

Kakashi put her under a pretty bad genjutsu once you know. I do not know or care if the get together and i also dont think they should. But sasuke does care for her his actions show it.

He does not have to be surprised honestly. That wont make it easier and him not killing sakura does not mean he wants naruto to hold back. That would meanhe feared naruto which is not the case. And at this point naruto is ready to fight. Not talk. He knows holding back against naruto will get him killed

sasuke doesn't give a rat ass about whether naruto is there or not, he trapped kurama who is pretty close to naruto doing that in narutos front he doesn't fear anyone. if he wanted to kill sakura he would have done it regardless of naruto.

he tried to kill her because he was under the influence of the uchiha curse sasuke in his normal non crazy state of mind would never try to kill her as he never did before. Saying naruto's presence keeps him from trying to kill her implies he fears naruto. Which as you can sasuke does what ge wants when he wants.
