Kishimoto illustrating Madara's panel for no reason is a confirmation that Madara is not dead.

Look at Obito, he never really die until he had a flashback about Pedo Rin and end up being killed by Kaguya . He even came back after his body turned into ashes via DBZ Style Transmission and stayed with Kakashi along with his 2 MS until Kaguya got sealed by Naruto and Sasuke.

Madara is not dead because he has no flashback!!! Its common sense!!!! Hashirama said Sasuke looks like Izuna Uchiha
