1) He acknowledged Sakura's Intellect in part 1
2) He protected her numerous times in part 1
3) He went berserk with the curse mark when the sound shinobi beat her up after asking who did it to her.
4) He was mad at himself that he couldn't save her from Gaara
5) He thanked her for the time they had before he left
6) He noticed her when he arrived on the field
7) He smiled when she showed her byakugou power and even gasped at it
8) He caught her when he teleported to she and Obito
9) He repeated the same line he did to her before he left Konoha after listening to all her words
10) He didn't harm her but once again knocked her out before stating she would come after them

If she's so meaningless to him, why give her so much of his day? You want the reason why he used genjutsu on her? Probably as others have said, because he either doesn't feel worthy of her or because he believes his feelings of her will get in the way of his ambition. Using the genjutsu to make it look and feel like he stabbed her could possibly permanently repel her from him.

This doesn't prove that Sasuke loves her.

Reasons:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5: Is part 1, and does not have anything to do with the current Sasuke. As much, these points only enstablish a basis for point 9.

6, 7, 8: I don't expect people on the forums believes in emotional reunions in middle of war. It's obvious Sasuke only felt relieved due Sakura being potentially useful (and in fact, she was then Sasuke was teleported back to Naruto).

9: In order to put someone in a genjutsu, you must get his attention. Remembering a situation doesn't necessarily mean romantic love, specially for someone who is worried of more important things, as for, getting rid of Naruto as soon as possible to execute the kages and the beasts, and releasing IT.

Being honest, I find too hypocritical of people thinking "now" that Sasuke was going to express and feel love for Sakura, when some chapters ago, Sasuke demonstrated the contrary attitude. People, you should remember that the emotional guy in this place is someone else...

10: Of course she had to be out of the way. Everytime she comes in, his plans are delayed. What would happen if Sakura put her butt in the battle and died? Naruto would become angry and kill Sasuke or at least beat the crap out of him from the start, end of story. You should remember the battle of the Hospital in part 1, at least. She was virtually dead if Kakashi were not there.

No, the old analytical Sasuke is back. I mean, SkyGodHorus, alluding to the common sense you have (and I know it, you're a very smart one): What would happen if Sasuke kills Naruto as he proposed? Would Sakura run into Sasuke's arms, happy of a dead Naruto and a living "Sasuke-kun"?

This said... Sasuke's feelings "my ass". He doesn't care about feelings, he doesn't want Naruto becoming too angry from the start, this is way too risky, specially now that Sasuke knows the extension of Naruto's power.

...well, I hope you understand why I think Sasuke doesn't really care for her, but for his revolution. My conclusion and way of thinking is not biased... it's plotwise.

I can see that you are too bias and refuse to accept the truth. Sasuke love Sakura that is way he used the same expression that he used when he was going to meet Orochimaru.
He said that he was not interested in sakura after putting her in a genjutsu because she couldn't hear him
Please stop being childish and learn to accept the truth if not you are not different from the actual sasuke

I can see that you are too bias and refuse to accept the truth.

Truth is a function of reality and context, and this truth is subdued to the superposition of various realities. The only way to determine the value taken by truth is using evidence. Henceforth, the only way for you to be someone able to speak me about truth, is holding evidence at hand.

I'm all ears, if you have evidence to convince me. So, come on... bring it on!

Sasuke love Sakura that is way he used the same expression that he used when he was going to meet Orochimaru.

Bring proof of Sasuke loving Sakura in part 1, so I can judge if your reasoning holds water.

As for me, having good memory is nowhere near to having feelings. Sasuke has the brains, as far as I know. He is analytical, unlike Naruto.

This is the proof:

He said that he was not interested in sakura after putting her in a genjutsu because she couldn't hear him

Obviously you have not been in a romantic relationship before. When you're in love but you have not confessed, you usually don't tell the person who you like that "you're interested" unless you have enough determination to do so. But Sasuke said "he is not interested", the contrary, "without her knowing". Very simple, in fact: Your logic here is twisted. Try again with this, revise what you're trying to say.

Please stop being childish and learn to accept the truth if not you are not different from the actual sasuke

Try to collect your thoughts before trying to establish discussion here. I'm clearly not the biased one here. The biased ones are those who have been telling me about why SasuSaku/NaruHina is a reality, without evidence or valid reasoning.

Furthermore, I challenge you to answer the following questions:

- What would happen if Sasuke kills Naruto as he proposed?
- Would Sakura run into Sasuke's arms, happy of a dead Naruto and a living "Sasuke-kun"?

Try to put yourself in Sasuke's shoes and answer me, being honest of course.

If you dare to say that Sasuke has feelings for Sakura (even killing Naruto) and that she would go for Sasuke after this, you would basically be accepting that Naruto was never a friend of Sakura. Can you really tell this? Honestly?

I'll do it step by step so we can read well.

I already proved it was. Sasuke had 3 options in this point of the manga.

1) If Sasuke left her unconscious instead of using genjutsu, there would be a high possibility of Sakura going later into the battlefield and this would have been a risk for both Naruto and Sasuke.

2) If Sasuke killed Sakura in that place, there is a high chance that Naruto were going all out against Sasuke (and even Kakashi), and Sasuke's plans would have been in danger.

3) (the most logical option) Sasuke put her into genjutsu. This is the most apparently inofensive action he could use at the moment, the less risky for his plan of fighting Naruto.

Agreed. But this does not mean that Sasuke had feelings for her. This only proves that Sakura loves him. This is the common confusion of the SasuSaku fandom.

And here is where you failed to counter me. I never said Sakura was going to come back to Naruto (in fact, where in the manga Sakura genuinely told that she loved Naruto? Please, I'm a proof guy... don't put words on me).

I only said that she would never forgive Sasuke if he put a finger on Naruto, because everyone knows she loves Naruto as a brother (kinda the feeling of Naruto towards Hinata, based on manga of course).

This said, your argument has been blown because a misinterpretation of yours. Inténtelo nuevamente más tarde :)

...ass.

In this chapter, Sasuke one-shot Sasusaku fans, and put in danger the Naruhina fandom.

Sasuke is NOT interested in Sakura. But... Why would he put her in genjutsu then?

I don't want to ignore your post. So, I am trying to make a peaceful reply.

Now, compare the two posts you have here. You can see that you made three claims in your initial post:

(1) Sasuke one shot the SasuSaku fanbase.

Unless you have another definition of one-shot, I understand you think Sasuke does not care about Sakura. Well, it seems you said it afterward.

(2) Sasuke put the Naruhina fanbase in danger.

So here, you think Sakura will go to Naruto if Sasuke does not care about her. You think Naruto will take Sakura or may take her if Sakura does not stay with Naruto. This is your own idea.

(3) Sasuke is not interested in Sakura.

Here we go. This is your conclusion that Sasuke is not interested in Sakura while Sasuke still is asking Sakura why she love him. Sasuke said he is not intersted in such thing as love but the truth is that he is scared of love. Why? because he lost his previous love - his parent. This was obvious in the chapter. Thus, you are still ignoring the fact. It is clear that if Naruto change Sasuke, Sasuke will take Sakura.

For your second post, I believe you can understand why I don't address it. You tried to forget you initial post and twist your argument.

Thanks for the consideration. I'm going to answer for my claims.

I don't want to ignore your post. So, I am trying to make a peaceful reply.

(1) Sasuke one shot the SasuSaku fanbase.

Unless you have another definition of one-shot, I understand you think Sasuke does not care about Sakura. Well, it seems you said it afterward.

Exactly. That's what I explained.

(2) Sasuke put the Naruhina fanbase in danger.

So here, you think Sakura will go to Naruto if Sasuke does not care about her. You think Naruto will take Sakura or may take her if Sakura does not stay with Naruto. This is your own idea.

Nope. I implicitely said that Sakura would become a candidate (she has been rejected, she is free, that's all, zvarri, chao), but not that she would go for Naruto. I didn't say this.

The hard fact here is that Sasuke expressed his lack of interest for Sakura.
And of course, historic data says that Sakura feels love for Naruto, in a brotherly way.
No more, no less.

For your second post, I believe you can understand why I don't address it. You tried to forget you initial post and twist your argument.

Why would someone as analytical as Sasuke distract Sakura in such situation, without using "brute force" from the start in order to stop her?

That kind of behavior would have left suspiction on Kakashi or Naruto.

It's all right you picked the claims of my first post, but it is also clear that you purposely ignored what I said afterwards in the same first post...

Why genjutsu instead of rendering her unconscious?

Answer: Sasuke can control the lenght of the genjutsu, as long as the battle goes. If Sasuke or Naruto killed Sakura in battle, Naruto would go all-out against Sasuke, and time is gold in this case: Sasuke needs to finish the battle so he can use the beasts or he will lose too much chakra. Sakura is a potential risk if she is near Naruto... She would imply a waste of time, either by TnJ or by forcing Naruto going all-out.

It is all a matter of context and risks. He was thinking in his revolution, and he can't fail. It's as simple as that.

I can easily counter this question of yours with this other question: If the chick you have interest in tells that she loves you... "would you ask her why?". I don't know, man... nobody who really has interest makes that kind of questions under these situations, that's touchless. So no, it is very unlikely to accept that as "interest in her".

About my second post: I didn't twist anything. I only expanded the explanation of the answer of my initial post, because most of people purposely ignored it.

Exactly my point. Sasuke was really an ass with her, with that kind of question he really rejected her.

Thanks man, I feel flattered.

In the end, my main line of questioning is "what would happen if Sakura messed in the fight".

And you know the rest of story. Sasuke's plan would have been rendered useless. People thinks that I'm trying to pin a relationship between Naruto and Sakura, when in fact I'm speaking about the outcome of Sasuke's plan, all the way. Oh well... I'm not the type of guy that's forcing pairings here (unless it's Sasuke with Naruto lmfao)

I really don't get the point you're trying to make. The first part of your op seems to have little to do with the 2nd part. Plus I have no idea what the title even means.

Anyway... "Why genjutsu instead of rendinger her unconscious?"

This is the main point I guess, but to me it's nonsensical. since genjutsu rendered her unconscious. I assume you mean, instead of using a real attack instead of an illusion. I think the reason he didn't was he couldn't bring himself to, that's why kishi showed that hesitation in his step. I think he wanted to actually attack her, but went with the genjutsu instead.

As far as taking her out of the game, I don't think a hole in her chest would have finished her, after all she has the yin seal. Genjustu would be the most effective method.

But the difference between a genjutsu and a hit in the neck (as in part 1) would have been "control" basically, because Sasuke can have control over how much time she is in that state. And well, in my last post I explain why genjutsu was the most plotwise answer to the situation.

Well this is were we disagree I guess. I don't think she's still in a genjutsu. I think she passed out from the shock of the illusion. So he really doesn't have direct control on how long she's out. I don't think Sasuke, even with his upgrades, has a genjutsu that works like tsukiyomi. After all he had to seal the beast when he genjustu'd them and Kurama managed to speak for a moment, this to me proves that eventually he would have lost control of them.

Sakura is still in Genjutsu unless it can be shown that she was "released" by someone touching her and uttering the words then she's still under it.

Did you not get the point of this chapter... Sasuke is a stubborn ass.... he smiled right before he did that. He lies to himself and the whole point of this chapter was to show that sasuke's hate needs to change to love. No one one shotted Sasuke/Sakura... that shit has been inevitable... It's Sasuke and Sakura, and Naruto and Hinata. That's IF kishi wants to even show couples. Get over it. TO much hinting over 700 freaking chapters. It would be bad storytelling otherwise.

Sasuke did not "smile", he did not smile like an indulgent significant other. He did not smile because of his "feelings" for her.

He smiled/chuckled because Sakura is amusing. She hasn't changed in all that time she is still just as annoying as back when he first left.

He smiled because of nostalgia, pure simply amusement and disbelief at her as a person. I myself laughed out loud at the whole scene. I imagine Sasuke would have similar feelings of disbelief.

That seems to me like Sasuke saw the after-effects of the illusion, not the effects occurring during the illusion. After all, she got up on her own, there was no release. She screamed after seeing the illusion and then she passed out while foaming at the mouth.

Or course there are genjutsu that hold people in some state of paralysis or sleep, but not all.
