Why do people on this site continually insist that sakura's behavior is "normal for women/girls"??? Can you name exactly what you find average about her behavior?? Please,..tell me, because I've worked with students and adults of all genders and ages for years and I've never witnessed a more unhealthy, disturbed, shallow, slow individual who has deep psychological issues beyond any psychiatrist's kin. This is not a "hate thread" or "character bashing". I'm genuinely curious. Just tell me what normal sane human being regardless of gender, period professes their love for someone after watching them threatening to kill someone who's like a sibling to then and who's been there for them?? What kind of normal sane human being continues to willingly run back to someone completely aware of the emotional and physical ramifications??? What kind of normal, sane individual continues to cling to an idealistic image of someone based on the past when they barely knew the person from who they were from the get go and only liked them for their appearance??


I know it seems as though sakura "cares" about sasuke but I'd just like to clarify the situation by stating that she does not in fact "care" about him. She does seem to care about finding some hope of validating her idealistic image of sasuke so she can enforce her own agenda onto him for her own gratification. This is not genuine concern. This is not the behavior of a healthy individual.

Hey I said individuals of any gender. Naruto is included as well..I think naruto's real problem is since he didn't have a family growing up he clings to sasuke as though he were his brother..which...is in a different context that having unjustified affection for someone you hardly even know. Naruto at this point is just trying to defend himself. Sakura on the other hand...professed her love in the hopes that somehow sasuke would change. Such is the workings of a self centered manipulative individual.

I would agree and add that the character still seems to have an infatuation with any ideal that she had in her mind as a 12 year old. 17 old girls are normally mature young women who grow out of crushes on ideals as they begin to assess true substance. Kishimoto has matured the character physically, but he has left the character the same 12 year old girl mentally.
