How do you get high rep power?

1 year on NB is + 1 rep power

But I also think you get some every 1000 rep points as well.

Most 2012, 2011, and 2010 members have +12 rep power, I think you need over 2,000 rep for your power to go up that high

Lol it's not about how much you post but actually about the quality of what you post. For instance the prediction in my sig gave me many reps and still continues to do so. Though you shouldn't care that much for that. It may say that I'm a member since 2012 but in reailty I started using it in May of 2013.

I don't check the bars, I use the rep menu in my User CP.
