How can this manga possibly end in december?

If this manga was to end in december, that hardly leaves 12 manga chapters at most. So I'm so curious as to how its possible that this manga will resolve every last possible story aspect in less than 12 chapters. If naruto and sasuke were to fight, i would expect that alone to take 10 chapters minimum. I mean, how long was the fight against madara or obito, like 30 chapters each? It really doesnt feel like they can resolve everything so quickly (im still waiting on an explanation about yamato).

Which brings me to..the movie. If sasuke and naruto were to finish they "fight" in the manga, then what exactly would be the plot of the movie? They are not going to make a full movie about naruto or sasuke being hokage and how everyone lived on happily ever after. A movie needs to have a conflict and a resolution. And I sincerely doubt that they are going to fight a new baddie because nothing can exist stronger than the juubi, and something weaker than the juubi would be anti climatic. Which leads me to believe...that the naruto and sasuke fight will actually happen in the movie, not the manga! Because we have seen models of future naruto and future sasuke, we believed that the movie would take place entirely in the future. But it could be that the future storyline is only a small part of the movie.

...Then there is also the probability that the movie is also a set up for a new naruto manga.

so when chapter 20 is released they already have till 25 ready.

Do we know for sure that The Last movie is cannon to Naruto manga? It could be like Road to Ninja which incorporated some of the things from the storyline at the time to make a filler type movie. Kind of like the filler episodes in the anime.

Let me explain your mistake. Kishi hasn't fully known his story in the beginning. The edo tensei no jutsu wasn't fully developed. The eyes of the first and second hokage had normal color and they should probably be shown with full powers. So sandaime hokage was the strongest. But after the timeskip, kishi changed his mind. He decided that the first and second hokage should play a bigger role just as the edo tensei. So he made an asspull, and let Tobirama say to Orochimaru that he awaked them with much more of their power this time. So Kishi showed us that the ones who fought Hiruzen were just fodder and the real Hokages are much stronger.

The time when Orochimaru summond all 4 Hokages for Sasuke, it was officially confirmed that Hashirama is the strongest Hokage.

I could see the final chapter being a massive wrap of over 50 pages. The very first chapter took about that many to introduce the world and Naruto to us, it'd make sense to send the story off properly with a long chapter. That being said, if "Naruto" was to end and a 3rd part, under a different title, were to appear then they wouldn't have to wrap up the story by December.

I'm sure we'll find out what we wanna know about oro in this fight from Sasuke thinking to himself. But I think the final clash will be in chapter 700 so everything else can be resolved by December, 7 chapters can wrap things up
