Everyone realizes that in the first fight at the Valley of The End Naruto precisely aimed the Rasengan in order to strike Sasuke at a non lethal angle.

Naruto has proven capable enough to DEFEAT Sasuke minus his training arc in Shippuden before Rasen Shuriken (Not counting regular Naruto series)

Naruto has never tried to harm Sasuke with an intent to kill whilst the Uchiha has been taking these fights no holds barreled. If you ask me Naruto still treats Sasuke as his "brother" and will never fight to kill. Unlike Hashirama who had to dominate because of the time they were living in Naruto coukd easily take him down, if we actually saw him serious.

Ask yourself this. If Naruto was at full power and Sasuke had did something unforgivable how long would that fight take? Hmm.. No brainer.

Finally someone understands. Everyone looks at their first fight as black and white. Apparently, since Naruto was unconscious at the end, Sasuke is stronger. While Sasuke did win, at most they were equal in power for Sasuke's favor and that's Naruto with only a few tails. People don't acknowledge that It was Naruto's doing, like how for whatever reason Sasuke doesn't acknowledge it. I'd like to say they're equal in power now, but I don't see Naruto succeeding to make Sasuke come back without him actually defeating him first, because Sasuke is pretty bent on fufilling his goal right now. Plus Naruto cut Kaguya's friggen arm off because "The coolest guy" died.

They're equal enough that Sasuke can reasonably defeat Naruto and Naruto can reasonably defeat Sasuke.

But yea, Naruto just wanted to scratch Sasuke's headband, he wasn't aiming to kill meanwhile Sasuke was aiming to win in general.

If Sasuke gave Naruto a reason to kill him, I think Naruto would win because his resolve would be stronger. Seriously, resolve and morale do wonders for fighters of equal strength. It would take something HUGE though

never said it was going to be easy especially since each other worst enemy(total opposite, one exceed were the other lack or fail). i don't faves one character over the other, but naruto is more detrimental to sasuke then sasuke is to naruto in term of power and justu arsenal

If you disagree ask yourself this... Could Sasuke have defeated Pain at that point in time?

Wrong! Susake won the fight in part 1 because his chidori was a complete jutsu and thus was stronger than naruto's rasengan.

Naruto had intel on his abilities,Pain wasn't at full power,he couldn't use Shinra Tensei at the begining and Naruto went Kyuubi.

And even with those disadvantages I strongly believe Sasuke would have lost regardless.

What about the sage saying (again) that he gave them both equal power do you not understand? Naruto is not stronger than Sasuke, and Sasuke is not stronger than Naruto. Before the power-ups, it was unclear who was more powerful, as Sasuke "adjusted his power with his sharingan to Naruto's power" when they were going head to head against obito. So with that statement and action alone, it cancels out either of them being more powerful even then. As for Pein... yes, Naruto was more powerful at that point, it was stated by Obito that Naruto was probably more powerful than Sasuke at that point, but note it was before Sasuke woken his Susanoo and before EMS, as when they both met after the kage summit, Naruto acknowledged he could not beat Sasuke.

As for the vote... Naruto did not refute Sasuke when he took a jab at him with "you will lose like last time", he merely continued to confirm it by saying he won't lose like last time, so these threads alleging one or the other is more powerful are just beyond ridiculous, at times they were more powerful than the other, but it was and is never consistent, it all boils down to being equals at the end of the day.

True. Aside from the times when he used rasengan on him, or fought him with the intention to break every bone in his body, or the time when he went into his kyuubi form, you're right.
