Ok lets just get some facts straight so we can see what is going to happen before the end.

-Sasuke will NOT die.

What does this mean? I means one of three things, and one of three things only.
-Sasuke gets convinced by Naruto after their fight and see his way of things.
-After Naruto beats Sasuke he becomes like a hermit (kinda like we see in his movie picture)
-(this one I believe will happen) After Naruto beats Sasuke, they combine their ideals of what a hokage is.


Sasuke does not think he is worthy of love

-Sasuke is clearly the most stubborn SOB on the planet but.. there was signs this chapter, as when Sasuke smiled before he turned and cast the Genjutsu. The manga and Hagaromo are making it obvious he is going to be capable of love again. (Btw I honestly thought he impaled her at first lol)

-They have been adamant with Sakura loving Sasuke. What kinda story would have a sheit ending like that if she pursues him SO long, gets over him but not really, and ultimately will always love him as proven in this chapter after he's tried to kill her and is trying to destroy the world... what kind of a resolution would it be for her not to end up with him? Just think hard on that. I know people like to ship this and that couple but... It's Sasuke and Sakura... and Sakura and everyone elses love will change Sasuke. This time will be different. Love is the counter to hate. The whole point of changing Sasuke.

Naruto WILL win

Kakashi as Hokage

Kakashi will become Hokage before Naruto. And Hagaromo seems in the business of giving power gifts. And he still hasn't left. And Kakashi is the only one awake near him. Leading me to believe he is still around to gift Kakashi one final gift. Either be it his Sharingan back, or something else, Clearly he will get something to help him be Hokage. On the other hand he is quite the elite ninja even without it. And knows over 1,000 jutsu because of the sharingan. Could do fine without it.. plus he doesn't have any gods to fight now... He'll be fine.

I like the thread, but there is a flaw in point 2. If Sasuke really cared for Sakura, he would not have said that he had to kill Naruto, specially in front of her. His actions in the end demonstrated the contrary... The genjutsu scene was trivial compared with the consequences that Sasuke is looking for. From the moment Sasuke hurts Naruto, Sasuke will definitely prove that Sakura does not mean anything to him.
