[Discussion] What will Naruto accomplish by bringing Sasuke back to the village?

Question in op. What will he accomplish?

Sasuke will still be pissed and ignore Sakura.
Sakura will probably go into depression because he won't acknowledge her.
And everybody else will feel unsafe. Naruto is being selfish.

And that only assuming he's not thrown in the slammer.

Let's assume that as well. Let's say he's jailed. Then what? The end? What then?

Please help me answer this question.

He said he would and he feels some sort of connection between Sasuke (whatever that is). I really can't understand how the cycle will be broken if Sasuke isn't indoctrinated with ninshu. I mean Madara was brought back to the village, yet still left to destroy it with the 9 tails.

OT:No seriously I get what you're saying OP. After everything Sasuke has done, it does seem kind of pointless to bring him back to the village unless it's to have him stand trail and be sentenced for his crimes.
