When you think about it, Kakuzu's defeat wasn't that bad

How many shinobi do you see that consistently use some sort of Shadow Clone in their fighting style?

To my knowledge, we know of 4 that reliably incorporate them; Kakashi, Itachi, Hashirama, and Naruto.

And even then, most don't use them to the extent that Naruto uses them. So, instead of thinking of it as embarassing, consider this. He simply didn't know what to expect, because he's never encountered it before!

Bunshin feints are obviously used by shinobi, but not nearly to the same degree as Naruto. And when you conisder that Naruto is pratically a Bunshin feint master, it really isn't all that embarassing for Kakuzu.

Hell, Part 1 Naruto tricked Kakashi initially with a Bunshin Feint the first time he met him.

Like I said, Bunshin feints are only used that constantly by Naruto.

Kakuzu most likely wasn't expecting him to try the exact same thing twice.

OT: I had an issue with it cause Kakuzu, an experienced ninja who fought with Hashirama and lived, got fooled by the same trick twice.

Kakashi was baby sitting team 10. All of his fights, he's the baby sitter. LIke against pain when he baby sat choji, and died for him.

Kakashi knew that shikamaru was about to kill kakuzu, so him letting it get that far is understandable.

It wasnt, unless you can distinguish between clones you are always at risk of getting fooled by thinking you are targeting the original but it turns out to be a clone

kakashi is a smart ninja he would have used kamui if he could maybe he didn't unlock it yet or wanted to conserve chakra and by the time he uses kamui another mask blows him up and don't say babysat because without those ppl there kakashi would have died quick no way he can fight kakuza or tendo pain one on one

We don't know the details of his Hashirama "fight" though. It could, and probably was one-sided; a kamikaze mission.

I didn't much like Kakuzu's death but really, who would have thought that someone would try the same thing twice in one stint?

Maybe so. It could have also been an assassination attempt that went wrong and resulted in a fight. Can't say which it is either way.

And he's been around for over 80 years. I just kind of expected him to expect the unexpected. Too much expectations _@:
