Have you actually tried learning Japanese?

its hell for me. XD the romanji ( Japanese that you pretty much hear. ) is easy to me as well as kanji writing kinda. But the Harigana /Katagana writing is hard U_U

And for reading / writing Japanese. Do you read it like

Having said that, once you've got passed Hiragana, Katakana and the Jouyou Kanji, it's very easy. I had a lot more trouble learning French than Japanese overall.

You're still a novice then.

I studied it for 7 years and the amount of peculiarities that crop up are uncountable and annoying.

The basic structure and inflection is easy, but certain aspects make it a language with a plethora of hurdles to jump over.

isnt it super hard? My teacher told me there's like 2000 japanese characters(I think kanji) I believe that he said only the first 3 were hard so idk

There are three writing systems:

Hiragana ("main" alphabet)
Katakana (for borrowed words like terebi, kouhii etc)
Kanji (Chinese characters)

There are thousands of Kanji but only around 2100 are most commonly used (These are called Jouyou Kanji), it can be tedious for some to learn them but depending on how good your memory is and how much you practice, you can learn them quite swiftly.

I've been studying it on my own for about 2 years. There's really no way around the memorization part of the kana and the kanji.
And the sentence structure, especially verb conjugation, is very different from English.

No, I just picked up a few words from anime. I have friends though who learn it, and yeah the writing takes a lot of practice to learn.

I'm learning japanese though audio programs but since I have no computer I can't continue to learn

It was a app in google chrome store, it teaches Japanese slowly and send you daily audio questions.

Example.... They tell you to say "Put that nickel in your pocket" in Japanese you say it to yourself, then they say it Japanese and you think you said it correctly well congrats.

They send it daily to make sure you don't get lazy and forget. If you don't click you've done daily wording they start to spam your email.

I have and am.
Repetition, repetition and more repetition, is what you'll need with Hiragana and Katakana.

I've read in ways such as the first and third, not sure about the second way. Actually, I've read a combination of the first and third even.

It's lots of fun finally being able to recognize part of what they say in the anime!
