Well he was able to somehow enter Naruto's mind and supress Kurama so I assume he can cast the Genjutsu directly on the Biju inside of a Jinchuriki but I am not sure.

That will fail horribly.

FYI, sasuke genjutsu is weakest because kurama broke it easily while tobit and madara's genjutsu needed to be cancelled through contract seal.

His logic is fine, it's yours that needs to be re-evaluated.

Naruto was able to use jutsu inside his subconscious so it's perfectly plausible to say that anyone else who can actively interact with the environment that is Naruto's subconscious could use genjutsu within, and since Sasuke was able to suppress a portion of Kurama's chakra, he is clearly able to interact.

And Kurama didn't break Sasuke's genjutsu, he was clearly paralysed along with the other bijuu.

IT progress is slower not that hard, really simple sasuke genjutsu is way faster that's why hinata was able to TALK cause IT progress is slow :/
